Walking or Hiking

You can walk all the way around the Alykes salt lake and maybe see flamingos between November and June
or see the "pink river" in summer.
You could also walk to Marmari by walking past the Alykes or by walking south along the beach from Tingaki Beach

Another place within walking distance from the Sunset Hotel is the town of Zipari, which is not a tourist town, so this will give you an idea how the locals live. There are some restaurants and plenty of shops in the town and this would be a good place to practice your "Greek". Zipari does not "shut-down" at the end of the Tourist season like Tingaki and other tourist areas
