The Sunset Hotel is popular Hotel/Resort in the beach side town of Tingaki. Airport approx. 20 km, Kos Town & Harbour approx. 10 km

Tingaki (which is often spelt Tigaki) is a popular area for tourists as it has a beautiful long beach, and is located between Kos Town and the airport on the North side of the island making it a well located base to get to other tourist destinations which are spread over the island which is about 40 Kilometres (25 Miles) long

The Hotel is located on the main road of Tingaki opposite Constantinos Supermarket which is one of the best supermarkets on the island, carrying lots of souvenirs, clothing and everything you need for the beach. Outside is a bus stop for a cheap and convenient trip to Kos Town, returning you next to the Sunset Hotel entrance.

It is only few minutes walk walk to the the main shops in Tingaki, where you can easily rent a small car, a bicycle, a quad bike, a buggy or scooter from one of the hire companies, or you can book one of a large selection of exciting day tours. The bus will pick you up from in front of the Hotel.
There are also plenty of Restaurants, souvenir shops and more between the Hotel and the beach.

The beach is ideal for swimming, and you can hire a sunbed on the main part of the beach or there are more adventurous activities at the west end of the main beach area.

A little further west and you come to the end of the sunbeds and if walk even further you come to the nudist beach. This is a very long uncrowded part of the beach adjacent to the large Salt Lake (called Alikes) where flamingos feed at certain times of the year when there is water in the lake. It is said that Loggerhead sea turtles also nest on this stretch of the beach at night in the early summer with babies hatching towards the end of summer.
